Mungkin aku dibutakan oleh cinta, sebab akalku dikacaukan olehmu.
Seberapa banyak pun aku meminta, kau takkan memilihku.
Ini yang kau sebut cinta?
Menunggumu bukan pilihan.
Izinkan aku meninggalkanmu, dengan serpihan hati yang tersisa.
Dan jika ternyata dia yang ada di sana, sama-sama menanggung keping-keping hati yang berhamburan, saat kami saling menyembuhkan—salahkah itu?
Innocence was never meant for the addictive…
Addiction was something Krit Corbin accepted as part of his nature a long time ago. He decided to embrace it and flip his finger at the rules. Women had always been the number one thing on his list of addictions. He couldn’t get enough. Being the lead singer in a rock band had only made access to his favorite addiction that much easier.
Being alone was the only thing Blythe Denton understood. The small-town minister’s family that raised her hadn’t accepted her as their own. The minister’s wife had always made sure Blythe understood just how unworthy she was of love. When Blythe is sent away to college and given a chance to finally be free of living as an unwanted burden, she looks forward to having peace in her life. Being alone isn’t something that bothers her. She escapes reality in the stories she writes.
However, the ridiculously sexy tattooed guy who keeps throwing parties in the apartment above hers is driving her crazy. For starters, he doesn’t treat her like she would expect a guy with a different woman always hanging on his arm to treat someone as uninteresting as her. She looks nothing like the gorgeous women she sees parading in and out of his apartment, but for some strange reason, he keeps showing up at her door.
During a party at his apartment, Krit’s new neighbor comes to the door with her long brown hair pulled up in a messy knot and a pair of glasses perched on her cute little nose. She wants him to turn down the music, but he convinces her to stay.
Krit Corbin may have just found his biggest addiction yet. And Blythe Denton realizes too late that she’s finally been claimed.
Despite early setbacks, things are now progressing between Lily and Stuart. Not only is their relationship made official when she attends a public fundraiser on Stuart’s arm, but he finally introduces her to the exclusive and mysterious club ‘The Powerhouse’.
Things initially seem idyllic until events take a violent turn and their future seems under siege. Progress is made when an arrest puts one dangerous character behind bars, and they face one of the ghosts of Lily’s past and the cause of much of her self-doubt - her mother.
Teresa Hamilton is having a rough year—she’s in love with her big brother’s best friend, but he hasn’t spoken to her since they shared a truly amazing, mind-blowing, change-your-life kiss. And maybe a chance to convince Jase that what they have together is real.
Jase Winstead has a huge secret that he’s not telling anyone. Especially not his best friend’s incredibly beautiful sister. Even though he and Teresa shared the hottest kiss of his life, he knows that his responsibilities must take priority. He certainly doesn’t have time for a relationship. But it doesn’t help that all he can think about is kissing the one girl who could ruin everything for him.
As they’re thrown together more and more, Jase and Tess can’t keep denying their feelings for each other. But a familiar danger looms and tragedy strikes. As the campus recovers, the star-crossed couple must decide what they’re willing to risk to be together, and what they’re willing to lose if they’re not…
Wildly stylish and terrifically entertaining. It ticks all the psychosexual boxes.

Baldwin's haunting and controversial second novel is his most sustained treatment of sexuality, and a classic of gay literature. In a 1950s Paris swarming with expatriates and characterized by dangerous liaisons and hidden violence, an American finds himself unable to repress his impulses, despite his determination to live the conventional life he envisions for himself. After meeting and proposing to a young woman, he falls into a lengthy affair with an Italian bartender and is confounded and tortured by his sexual identity as he oscillates between the two.
Examining the mystery of love and passion in an intensely imagined narrative, Baldwin creates a moving and complex story of death and desire that is revelatory in its insight.
What is a single life worth? In our modern world, where wars are on the cusp of igniting at a moment’s notice, new diseases ravage entire populations, and hidden atrocities erase the lives of thousands, what can the death of a single person mean?
It can mean the tenuous line between peace and destruction.
Kurt Ramis knows this, as he watches the aftermath of an assassination on his television set. His years in the CIA have prepared him for such a dreadful day.
“Rasul” knows this, as he follows his young guide down the streets of New York City, with a gift for his adopted country.
The soldiers and sentries of Camelot’s Corridor, deep under the sands of Texas know this, as they prepare the secret bunker for the President’s arrival.
Mike Keogh knows this, as he remembers fallen friends, betrayals, and mention of a secretive monster named the Tangerine Demon.
Jessie Rosen will know it soon enough, as she descends the steps to Kubrá, to meet her deliverer. Her new family descends those steps as well, calling for their Lord to hear their prayers.
Phil Barr begrudgingly knows this, as he cowers in his palatial Hollywood Hills mansion, murderers and thugs auditioning on live TV, sirens ringing in his ears. This wasn’t how his charmed life was supposed to turn out.
And DaRWIn knows this best of all, as it predicted the assassination, and the calamitous after-effects some time ago.
On a certain day, on a certain street in the Middle East, the taking of a single life will mean everything, and it will shake the foundation of humanity. It will be the pulling of a loose strand in mankind’s tapestry, undoing the progress of a thousand years, ripping apart at the seams countless lives, countless societies.
Intertwining lives and stories, some saved and some ended, some Going, some Gone…

Much Ado About Nothing, one of Shakespeare's most beloved comedies, intertwines two very different tales of love. On one hand, we have the young lovers Hero and Claudio, whose journey to the altar is thwarted by the villainous Don John. On the other, the story of Beatrice and Benedick showcases how pride and mutual antagonism can be overcome when friends decide to intervene, turning their merry war into an unexpected romance.
The play also delves into the themes of honor, shame, and societal expectations, providing a rich tapestry of human emotions and interactions. From the humorous misunderstandings and witty banter to the dramatic accusations and eventual reconciliations, Much Ado About Nothing remains a timeless exploration of love and its various complications.
No Exit presents a compelling portrayal of hell unlike any other. In this existentialist drama, three characters find themselves locked together in a room for eternity, with no escape. The play explores the psychological torment and humiliation that comes from being stripped of all pretenses under the unrelenting gaze of others. It's a place where secrets are laid bare and the deepest deeds are exposed to the harsh light of judgement. The true torture of this hell lies not in physical pain, but in the endless psychological anguish and introspection. This thought-provoking piece is a testament to Sartre's brilliance in exploring the human condition.
Nothing Can Come Between Us is a gripping drama that delves into the dark sides of lust and hate, weaving a tale of sex, drugs, money, and betrayal.

Lieber Herr Miggel,
Kompliment

It only seems to start Theo Lindner, an internationally active law firm partner and father, an ordinary working day: In an unexpected meeting scheduled, he learns that his colleague Joachim Peters has been the victim of a kidnapping - the 20 million euro ransom to the members of the Board of their private pay.
Within the firm a thrilling tug of war starts at the adequate handling of the emergency, on the one hand, anyone can associate a potential victim of the kidnap victims to identify the other hand, see all their material well-being threatened for years to come.
The situation is alarming and, as encrypted, the second sign of life references to Peters' whereabouts, and he seems to contain Theo Lindner, with whom he privately nothing extraordinary, explicitly send out greetings.
A breathtaking, exciting thriller in the legal environment, authentic and psychologically brilliant.

Meet Romeo Prince in the Amazon & USA Today bestselling novel, Sweet Home. Now, hear the story from his lips: unbarred, uncensored, and raw to the bone.
It makes me laugh when I hear folks think Molly and I rushed into things too fast, spouting that we couldn't possibly have felt what we did for each other in such a short space of time. I say, how the hell would they know? We made it, didn't we? She became my whole life, didn't she?
And as for my folks not being real, being true? Tell that to me aged ten, eleven, twelve—damn, all my bastard life—when I was never enough, when I was beaten until I bled for being too good at football and not being everything they'd dreamed: the perfectly dutiful son. Tell that to thousands of kids around the world getting wailed on by asshole parents for whatever stupid reason; tell them evil don't exist in their eyes.
Forget Romeo and Juliet. This is the story of me and my girl, from my lips. No mushy sentiment, no cheese, just the plain, hard truth. And, because I'm feeling generous, I'm going to let you in on more of our story too.

'Don't you think too much of "cracks,"' she is later to say to him, 'aren't you too afraid of them? I risk the cracks...' When the golden bowl is broken, Maggie must leave the security of her childhood and try to reassemble the pieces of her shattered happiness.
In this, the last of his three great poetic masterpieces, James combined with a dazzling virtuosity elements of social comedy, of mystery, terror, and myth. The Golden Bowl is the most controversial, ambiguous, and sophisticated of James's novels.
The text of this World's Classics paperback is that of the first English edition (1905). James's Preface is included, and a new introduction, notes, and selected variant readings.

The Whereabouts of Eneas McNulty is a lyrical tale by acclaimed Irish playwright Sebastian Barry. It follows the life of Eneas McNulty, a man whose happy, innocent childhood in County Sligo in the early 1900s is disrupted by the violence and conflict that grips Ireland.
After World War I, Eneas, unable to find work, joins the British-led police force, the Royal Irish Constabulary. This decision brands him a traitor to Irish nationalists, forcing him to flee from the IRA hitmen. Eneas leaves behind his homeland, his family, and Viv, the woman he loves.
His journey takes him to the Isle of Dogs, a haven for sailors, where he finds redemption through a final act of generosity. The novel is a compelling saga that illuminates Ireland's complex history and tells the poignant story of a lost man.
The Winds of Winter is the forthcoming sixth novel in the epic fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. The previous installment, A Dance with Dragons, covered less story than Martin intended, omitting at least one planned large battle sequence and leaving several character threads ending in cliffhangers.
Martin intends to resolve these cliffhangers very early in The Winds of Winter, saying "I'm going to open with the two big battles that I was building up to, the battle in the ice and the battle at Meereen—the battle of Slaver's Bay. And then take it from there."
"An eternity is such a long time to rule alone. Will you join me in Hell?"

Verdammt verliebt. Und Morgan Vegard? Er ist mein Seelenverwandter.
