A Glimpse into Our History

The seed of The Spine was planted in 2020, amidst the pandemic's peak, by two passionate individuals: Ivette Yáñez Soria and Jeremy Geros. Ivette, hailing from Mexico, is a gender, data and technology researcher; a communications expert in the non-profit sector, as well as mom, life-partner and book lover. Jeremy, from New Zealand, is a web developer, video game enthusiast, travel buff, the other partner of said life, and a dad. The first version of The Spine was unveiled in December 2022, marking the beginning of an evolving journey. This venture, our "second baby," has been a labor of love, intertwining our shared passions. Our aspiration isn't just growth for the sake of it; we yearn to cultivate a global community of individuals united by their love for books.
