Seth W. Godin, also known as F. X. Nine, is an American author, marketing expert, entrepreneur, and a former dot-com business executive. He is recognized for his contributions to the marketing industry and has authored several best-selling books.
Godin graduated in Computer Science and Philosophy from Tufts University in 1982 and earned his MBA in Marketing from Stanford Business School. He began his career as a brand manager at Spinnaker Software from 1983 to 1986, working with writers like Arthur C. Clarke and Michael Crichton.
In 1995, he founded Yoyodyne Entertainment, a company specializing in interactive marketing. The company was acquired by Yahoo! in 1998, the same year Godin was awarded the Momentum Award for his exceptional contributions to the Internet industry.
