Thomas Eugene Robbins, born July 22, 1932, is an American novelist renowned for his seriocomedies (also known as comedy drama). Robbins has crafted a distinctive literary presence since 1970 in La Conner, Washington, where he has authored nine books. His works, particularly the 1976 novel Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, which was adapted into a film by Gus Van Sant in 1993, have left a notable mark in contemporary literature. Robbins' latest publication, Tibetan Peach Pie (2014), presents a unique exploration of his life, diverging from traditional memoirs to offer an "un-memoir" experience.
