Robert Crais (born June 20, 1953) is a renowned American author known for his detective fiction. Before delving into novel writing, Crais had a successful career as a screenwriter, contributing to iconic television series like Hill Street Blues, Cagney & Lacey, Quincy, Miami Vice, and L.A. Law.
