Nora Roberts, also known as J.D. Robb, Jill March, and Sarah Hardesty (in the U.K.), is an American author celebrated for her extensive work in romance novels. Born as Eleanor Marie Robertson on October 10, 1950, in Silver Spring, Maryland, she has become a literary force, with over 225 romance novels to her name.
Roberts has the distinction of being the first author inducted into the Romance Writers of America Hall of Fame.
