Erin Meyer

Erin Meyer is an acclaimed American author and professor at INSEAD Business School, based in Paris, known for her expertise in cross-cultural communication and management. Meyer's influential work includes the 2014 book, The Culture Map: Breaking Through the Invisible Boundaries of Global Business, which explores how national cultural differences impact business interactions and success.

As a professor of management practice in the Organizational Behavior department at INSEAD, Meyer educates international business leaders and contributes to the development of global teamwork strategies. Her commitment to teaching is evident through her direction of the Leading Across Borders and Cultures program, as well as her frequent keynote speeches and seminars for organizations worldwide including the World Bank, the United Nations, and multinational corporations.

Her collaboration with Netflix CEO Reed Hastings led to the co-authorship of the New York Times best seller No Rules Rules: Netflix and the Culture of Reinvention, providing insights into the principles of building an innovative and adaptable corporate culture.

Meyer has published articles in Harvard Business Review, including the most read article of 2015, and her contributions have appeared in The New York Times Sunday paper, Forbes.com, and The Times of India. She has also been featured on CNN, Bloomberg TV, the BBC, and NPR.

Prior to joining INSEAD, she held positions as Director of Training and Development at HBOC and Director of Business Operations at McKesson Corporation. Her early career included teaching English in Botswana as a Peace Corps volunteer and working with Asian immigrants in the United States.
