Brené Brown

Dr. Brené Brown is an esteemed research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, holding the prestigious Huffington Foundation Endowed Chair. She extends her expertise as a visiting professor in management at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. With over two decades dedicated to studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy, Dr. Brown has significantly impacted these fields. Her work has garnered global recognition, notably through her viral 2010 TEDx Houston talk, The Power of Vulnerability, which ranks as one of the top five most viewed TED talks worldwide, accumulating over 50 million views.

Dr. Brown is the celebrated author of six #1 New York Times bestsellers, including The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, Braving the Wilderness, Dare to Lead, and most recently, Atlas of the Heart. Her insights have been featured across various media platforms, such as PBS, NPR, TED, CNN, Netflix, and HBO Max, highlighting her documentaries Brené Brown: The Call to Courage and a series based on Atlas of the Heart.
