Shauna Singh Baldwin is a Canadian-American novelist of Indian descent. Her acclaimed 2000 novel, What the Body Remembers, won the Commonwealth Writers' Prize for the Canadian/Caribbean Region. Additionally, her 2004 novel, The Tiger Claw, was nominated for the prestigious Giller Prize.
Shauna currently resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she and her husband own an espionage-themed restaurant known as the Safe House.
