Richard Russo

Richard Russo (born July 15, 1949) is an esteemed American novelist, short story writer, screenwriter, and teacher. In 2002, he was awarded a Pulitzer Prize in Fiction for his novel Empire Falls. Known for his rich characterizations and insightful explorations of small-town life in America, Russo's work resonates with readers and critics alike. His novel Nobody’s Fool was adapted into a film, showcasing his ability to create compelling narratives that translate well to the screen.
