Raymond Thomas Dalio is a renowned American investor, hedge fund manager, and author. Born on August 8, 1949 in New York City, Dalio is most notable for founding Bridgewater Associates in 1975. The firm quickly gained prominence and by 2013, it was recognized as the largest hedge fund in the world.
