Rainbow Rowell

Rainbow Rowell is an American author, born on February 24, 1973, renowned for her contributions to young adult and adult contemporary literature. Her acclaimed young adult novels include Eleanor & Park (2012), Fangirl (2013), and Carry On (2015). In addition to novels, Rowell has ventured into comic writing, including the 2017 revival of Marvel Comics' Runaways and She-Hulk from 2022 to 2024.

Aside from her work with teenagers, she writes about adults in novels such as Attachments, Landline, and Slow Dance. A notable aspect of her fiction, especially in The Simon Snow Trilogy, involves elements of fantasy, including lovesick vampires and guys with dragon wings.

Recently, she has expanded her repertoire to include short stories (such as Scattered Showers) and a significant number of comics, including Pumpkinheads and Lois and Clark. Rainbow resides in Omaha, Nebraska.
