Michael Buckley is a New York Times bestselling author born in Akron, Ohio in 1969. Before venturing into the literary world, Buckley tried his hand at stand-up comedy and was the lead singer for a punk rock band. He attended Ohio University, graduating with honors. Upon graduation, he moved to New York City where he interned on the Late Show with David Letterman. This experience led to opportunities developing programming for Discovery Networks, MTV, MTV Animation, and Klasky Csupo, the producers of Nickelodeon’s Rugrats. Today, Buckley resides in Brooklyn, New York with his wife Alison and their son Finn.
