Michael Buckley is a New York Times bestselling author known for his children's books. He was born in Akron, Ohio, in 1969. Before becoming an author, Buckley explored various creative fields, including working as a stand-up comedian and a lead singer for a punk rock band. He is an Ohio University graduate, where he graduated with honors.
After completing his education, Buckley moved to New York City and began his career as an intern on the Late Show with David Letterman. This opportunity led him to work on programming for Discovery Networks, MTV, MTV Animation, and Klasky Csupo, the producers of Nickelodeonβs Rugrats.
Today, Michael Buckley resides in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife Alison and their son Finn.
