Laurann Dohner is a full-time home 'supervisor', a delightful euphemism for a housewife. She lives in Southern California, happily married to her dream guy whom she met 20 years ago, and together they have four children.

Laurann is an ardent believer in romance and has always been a daydreamer. Her devotion to books started from a young age, where she would devour entire series such as Pippi Longstocking, Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys, Trixie Beldon, and The Borrowers within days. By the age of nine, she had already acquired an adult library card.

Her love for reading eventually blossomed into a passion for writing, although it was not something she always knew she wanted to do.
