Kristen Britain

Kristen Britain is a renowned American author, best known for her acclaimed fantasy series, Green Rider. Born on October 18, 1965, Kristen has a captivating writing style that has garnered her numerous nominations, including the Crawford Award and the David Gemmell Legend Award.

Kristen grew up in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, where she embarked on her writing journey at a young age, penning her first novel, an undersea fantasy, at just nine years old. Her first published work, a cartoon collection titled Horses and Horsepeople, came out when she was thirteen.

After completing her degree in film production at Ithaca College in 1987, Kristen took an unexpected turn from cinema to the National Park Service. Her diverse experiences as a park ranger led her to work in various natural and historical settings, spanning from 300 feet below the Earth's surface to 13,000 feet above sea level on the Continental Divide.

Her popular series, Green Rider, includes several captivating novels: Green Rider, First Rider's Call, The High King's Tomb, Blackveil, and Mirror Sight. The upcoming release, Spirit of the Wood, adds to her engaging body of work, promising to captivate readers further.
