Kristen Ashley is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of more than 75 books in 14 languages, with over three million copies sold. Two of her novels have been adapted into films.

Born as Kristen A L Moutaw on April 8, 1968, in Gary, Indiana, USA, Kristen nearly caused a commotion at birth with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck (an early attempt at accessorizing!). She grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana, and has lived in Denver, Colorado, and the West Country of England, experiencing a diverse range of cultures and communities.

Kristen's upbringing in a small, multi-generational family home in the heartland, surrounded by music from Glenn Miller to Whitesnake, influenced her storytelling. A fourth-generation graduate of Purdue University, she worked as a charity executive for 18 years before transitioning to a full-time writing career.

She is celebrated for her romance novels, including series such as Rock Chick, Colorado Mountain, and Dream Man. Her awards include the RT Book Reviews Reviewer’s Choice Award for best Romantic Suspense for Law Man. Her books have been nominated for numerous awards and have been translated into 14 languages, selling over five million copies worldwide.
