Julie James is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author known for her contemporary romance novels. After graduating from law school, she clerked for the United States Court of Appeals and practiced law with one of the nation’s largest firms. However, she shifted her career path towards writing after Hollywood producers optioned two of her screenplays.

Her books have been recognized on Amazon’s Best Books of the Year, the American Library Association’s Reading List for Top Genre Novels, and Booklist's Top 10 Romances of the Year. She has been featured in Cosmopolitan magazine as a Red Hot Read. Julie’s novels have been translated into twenty-two languages.
