Dougie Brimson

Douglas A Brimson, better known as Dougie Brimson, is an English film producer, screenwriter, and author. Born in 1959 in Hemel Hempstead, he gained recognition for penning the multi-award-winning feature, Green Street. To date, he has authored 17 books, including the classic study of hooliganism, Everywhere We Go: Behind the Matchday Madness and the football gangland trilogy, The Crew, Top Dog, and In The Know. Brimson is a unique figure among British writers, having achieved success in both fiction and non-fiction publishing, as well as in screenwriting. Formerly serving in the RAF, his writing career began in 1996 with the best-selling non-fiction work Everywhere We Go, a staple for enthusiasts of English football culture. Among his works, the crime thriller The Crew notably topped Amazon's sports book download charts for nine years following its eBook release.
