Dennis Sharpe was born and raised in the middle of the American Midwest. He has been a writer for as long as he can remember. His mother often shares stories of how he would write fantasy and science fiction tales on scraps of paper and staple them together as his 'books' before he even attended his first day of formal education.

Sharpe has spent countless late nights in diners and dives, drinking coffee with a tattered notebook in hand, giving voice to his thoughts on himself, the world around him, and worlds that exist only in fiction. The voices in his head never stop talking, compelling him to transfer their stories onto the page.

He draws inspiration from renowned figures such as Neil Gaiman, Kurt Vonnegut, Frank Miller, Joss Whedon, and Chrissie Pappas.
