Dennis Sharpe was born and raised in the heart of the American Midwest. His journey as a writer began at a very young age, crafting fantasy and science fiction stories on scraps of paper and binding them together as his own "books" before he even started formal schooling.

Many of his evenings have been spent in diners and dives, sipping coffee and filling tattered notebooks with the voices and stories that fill his mind. These voices seldom give him rest, compelling him to pour his thoughts and the worlds he imagines into his writing.

Sharpe draws inspiration from celebrated figures such as Neil Gaiman, Kurt Vonnegut, Frank Miller, Joss Whedon, and Chrissie Pappas.
