Daniel E. Lieberman

Daniel E. Lieberman is a prominent paleoanthropologist at Harvard University, holding the position of the Edwin M Lerner II Professor of Biological Sciences and Professor in the Department of Human Evolutionary Biology. He is widely recognized for his groundbreaking research on the evolution of the human head and the human body.

Lieberman received his A.B., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees from Harvard University and also obtained a M. Phil from Cambridge University. Prior to his current role, he served as a Junior Fellow in the Harvard Society of Fellows and taught at Rutgers University and George Washington University. He joined Harvard University as a professor in 2001 and currently serves on the curatorial board of the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology.
