Colleen Hoover

Margaret Colleen Hoover (nรฉe Fennell; born December 11, 1979) is an American author known for her work in the romance and young adult fiction genres. She gained widespread recognition for her 2016 romance novel, It Ends with Us. Many of Hoover's novels were initially self-published, later picked up by publishing houses. By October 2022, she had sold approximately 20 million books and was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine in 2023.

International Achievements: Hoover is an International and #1 New York Times bestselling author, writing across various genres, including romance, YA, thriller, women's fiction, and paranormal romance. She embraces diverse storytelling and often states, "I don't like to be confined to one genre. If you put me in a box, I'll claw my way out."

In addition to her writing, Hoover is the founder of the charity The Bookworm Box and the event Book Bonanza.
