Alan Bradley

Alan Bradley is a notable Canadian author educated in electronic engineering. Over the course of his career, he has contributed significantly to radio and television stations in Ontario, and has had a long-standing association with Ryerson Polytechnical Institute (now Ryerson University) in Toronto. Bradley notably served as the Director of Television Engineering at the media center of the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon for 25 years before taking early retirement in 1994 to pursue writing.

Bradley is acclaimed for his leadership and foundational roles in various writers' organizations. He was the first President of the Saskatoon Writers and a founding member of the Saskatchewan Writers Guild. His literary works have been published in The Canadian Children's Annual, and his short story, Meet Miss Mullen, was the first recipient of the Saskatchewan Writers' Award.
