The Book of Jubilees

2015

by Eric M. Black

The Book of Jubilees is a captivating historical fantasy fiction novel that follows the second life of Juan Ponce de Leon. Most people know that Juan discovered North America, but very few know that in his search for the Fountain of Youth, he actually found a fountain originating from the Garden of Eden.

Upon this discovery, Juan must confront his nemesis, Diego Columbus, the son of the famed explorer Christopher Columbus. During their battle, Diego is mortally wounded, forcing Juan to save his life by taking him to the mythical Garden of Eden for healing. As a result, a transformation occurs, and Juan and Diego become leaders in an ancient struggle against a group of fallen angels known as the Watchers.

The Watchers, upon learning the whereabouts of the Ark of the Covenant, attempt to harness its power to take over creation. Juan and Diego, alongside a group of assembled warriors, must face the angels, their offspring the Nephilim, and a mysterious people known as the Elioud. With the guidance of King Solomon, these warriors seek the answers hidden within the Book of Jubilees to finally eliminate the threat that has plagued mankind since the beginning.

Plague of Angels

Nyx is Queen of Hell and ruler of the Angels who were banished there – the Descended. When the rest of the Angels are called home, Nyx finds herself stuck on Earth with the Son of God. To her surprise, she learns that he is no happier than she is. God's son thought he was sent down to judge humanity. Instead, he becomes a sacrifice for a cause he does not believe in – their redemption.

After his mortal body dies, the Son of God makes Nyx an offer: a new paradise on Earth if she will help him destroy humanity. With two of her fellow Angels by her side, Nyx launches a thousand-year campaign of violence, sex, betrayal, and intrigue to bring down God's people and have them worship her instead.

From the back streets of Jerusalem to the palaces of Rome, from the temples of Egypt to the Pope's bedchamber, Nyx and her companions work to destroy the worshippers of God. But not all is as it seems. And the Son of God has bigger plans than any of them imagine...
