Veronica Roth, born on August 19, 1988, is an acclaimed American novelist and short story writer. She grew up outside of Chicago and graduated from Northwestern University. Presently, she resides in Chicago, Illinois, with her husband and dog, dedicating herself full-time to writing.
Roth is best known as the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Divergent Series (Divergent, Insurgent, Allegiant, and Four: A Divergent Collection), which has achieved global success, selling more than 35 million copies worldwide.
