Veronica Rossi

Veronica Rossi, born 16 June 1973, is a renowned Brazilian-American novelist who first captured readers' attention with her debut New York Times-bestselling book trilogy Under the Never Sky. This post-apocalyptic series not only made it to the NY Times and USA Today bestseller lists but was also recognized as one of the Best Books of the Year by School Library Journal and has been published in over 25 international markets. The immense success of the trilogy led to its film rights being optioned by Warner Brothers Studios.

Rossi's literary journey didn't stop with the Under the Never Sky series. She went on to write the RIDERS fantasy duology, a gripping tale of four modern-day teens who become incarnations of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, and the prophetic girl who brings them together. SEEKER, the conclusion of the duology, continued to establish her prowess in writing compelling young adult fiction. Additionally, Rossi has penned the historical fiction standalone, REBEL SPY, and her latest work, ROAR OF THE TIDES, picks up where the Under the Never Sky trilogy left off.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and having lived in various countries before settling in Northern California, Rossi's diverse background enriches her storytelling. She completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA and went on to study fine art at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. A lifelong reader and artist, Rossi's creative endeavors are not just limited to writing; she also enjoys reading, painting, hiking, and running.

When not immersed in her literary world, Rossi dedicates time to raising a service-puppy-in-training named Beckett, sharing her journey with him on social media. Her personal quirks include an irrational love of elephants and a gradually overcoming fear of spiders.

Rossi considers herself a lifelong learner, a trait that she believes has significantly contributed to her success as a writer. Her passion for exploring new worlds and minds through her books is a testament to her commitment to storytelling. Grateful for the opportunity to connect with her readers, Rossi views writing as not just a profession, but a fulfilling way of life.
