Tiffany McDaniel

Tiffany McDaniel is an American author from Circleville, Ohio, known for her evocative storytelling and richly imagined settings. She is of Cherokee heritage and began her journey in writing as a child. Despite being a self-taught author with no formal education, McDaniel crafted several unpublished works before achieving her first publication in 2016.

Her novels, including The Summer That Melted Everything (2016), Betty (2020), and On the Savage Side (2023), are set in the fictional town of Breathed, Ohio. Her work has earned her numerous international literary prizes.

In addition to her acclaimed novels, McDaniel is set to release her debut Middle Grade fantasy series, A Sky Full of Dragons, on August 27, 2024. She was honored with the prestigious title of Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters in July 2021.

She resides with her beloved cats and dog, surrounded by the trees and wildlife she cherishes. When not writing, Tiffany can often be found tending her garden.
