Tamsyn Muir

Tamsyn Muir is a celebrated author from New Zealand, renowned for her contributions to fantasy, science fiction, and horror genres. Muir achieved significant acclaim with the 2020 Locus Award for her debut novel, Gideon the Ninth, the first installment of the Locked Tomb Trilogy. The series continues with Harrow the Ninth and is set to conclude with Alecto the Ninth.

Muir's short fiction has also garnered attention, receiving nominations for prestigious awards such as the Nebula Award, the Shirley Jackson Award, the World Fantasy Award, and the Eugie Foster Memorial Award. Her life has spanned across various parts of New Zealand, including Howick, Waiuku, and central Wellington. Presently, Muir resides and works in Oxford, in the United Kingdom.
