Tahereh Mafi

Tahereh Mafi is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, best known for her Shatter Me series. Born in Connecticut, she currently resides in Santa Monica, California, with her husband, fellow author Ransom Riggs, and their daughter. Her books have sold millions of copies and have been translated into over thirty languages.

Shatter Me, her debut series, had its television rights optioned by ABC Signature Studios. Her first middle-grade novel, Furthermore, and its companion Whichwood, were well-received, with Whichwood released on November 14, 2017.

Her first contemporary novel, A Very Large Expanse of Sea, was named by Time magazine as one of "the best YA books of all time" and is in development for film with Levantine Films. Her most recent novel is the second book in a new fantasy series, These Infinite Threads.
