Susan Dennard is an award-winning, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author known for her work in YA fantasy. Her notable works include the Witchlands series and the Something Strange and Deadly series. In addition to her writing career, she actively engages with the writing community through her newsletter, "Misfits and Daydreamers."

Before embarking on her writing journey, Susan earned an M.Sc. in marine biology, which allowed her to travel the world. When not immersed in writing or teaching, she enjoys being a Dungeon Master or indulging in videogames.
