Ryan Chapman is a South African football (soccer) striker for Royal Eagles, born on April 14, 1987, in Cape Town, Western Cape. In addition to his sports career, Chapman is also recognized for his contributions to literature. With a background in marketing and online editorial at BOMB Magazine, The Penguin Press, Farrar, Straus & Giroux, Ryan brings a diverse set of experiences to his writing.

He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Puget Sound and has since been involved in various capacities within the literary community.
