Paul Stewart is a highly regarded author of books for young readers, covering genres from picture books to football stories, fantasy, and horror. He is best known for his collaboration with Chris Riddell, with whom he co-created the bestselling series, The Edge Chronicles. This series has sold more than three million copies and is available in over twenty languages.

The duo also worked together on numerous other exciting books for children of all ages. Their Far-Flung Adventures series includes the Gold Smarties Prize Winner Fergus Crane, as well as Corby Flood and Hugo Pepper, both of which are Silver Nestle Prize Winners. Additionally, Paul Stewart has contributed to the Barnaby Grimes books, two Muddle Earth adventures, and the sci-fi Scavenger and fantasy Wyrmeweald trilogies. For younger readers, he has authored the Blobheads series.
