Nicholas Eames was born in Wingham, Ontario to parents of infinite patience and unstinting support. He studied theatre at university before dedicating himself fully to writing. His first novel, Kings of the Wyld, was published in 2017 and is the first in the trilogy, The Band. The book was acclaimed, winning the Fantasy Stabby Award for Best Debut Novel in 2017 and the David Gemmel Award for Best Fantasy Novel in 2018. In 2018, he published the sequel, Bloody Rose. Eames enjoys black coffee, neat whiskey, the month of October, and video games. He currently resides in Victoria, British Columbia and is very probably writing at this moment.
