Myla Goldberg

Myla Goldberg is a bestselling American novelist and musician. She is widely recognized for her book Bee Season, along with other notable works such as Wickett's Remedy and The False Friend. She has also authored a children's book titled Catching the Moon.

Her books have been celebrated as finalists for several prestigious awards, including the National Book Critics’ Circle award, the Carnegie Medal, the Hemingway Foundation/PEN award, the NYPL Young Lions award, and the Barnes & Noble Discover award.

Myla writes and teaches in Brooklyn. She also gives homage to her home state of Maryland through music, collaborating with members of The Decemberists. Her diverse interests also include a variety of essays and performances.
