Myla Goldberg

Myla Goldberg is a bestselling American novelist and musician, born on November 19, 1971. She is renowned for her debut novel, Bee Season, as well as other works like Wickett's Remedy and The False Friend. Additionally, she authored a children's book titled Catching the Moon.

Her novels have been recognized as finalists for prestigious awards such as the National Book Critics’ Circle Award, the Carnegie Medal, the Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award, the NYPL Young Lions Award, and the Barnes & Noble Discover Award.

Myla resides in Brooklyn, where she continues her writing and teaching endeavors. Aside from her literary career, she has a deep connection to music, having performed with members of The Decemberists in homage to her home state of Maryland.
