Megan Crewe is a Canadian young adult writer, born in 1980 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She attended high school at Riverdale Collegiate Institute in Toronto before earning a degree in psychology from York University. Crewe worked as a behavioral therapist for teens in Toronto before becoming a full-time writer.
Her writing journey began with publications by New Canadian Voices, In2Print, and the Toronto School Board's poetry and prose periodicals. As a young adult writer, Crewe has authored several books and series, with her first novel, Give Up the Ghost, being shortlisted for the Sunburst Award for Canadian Literature of the Fantastic. Her second novel, The Way We Fall, was nominated for the White Pine Award and gained international recognition.
Crewe is based in Toronto, Canada, where she lives with her husband and son. Alongside writing, she tutors children and teens with special needs and has spent six years studying kung fu.
