Luca Di Fulvio

Luca Di Fulvio was an Italian novelist and stage actor. He was born on May 13, 1957, and passed away on May 31, 2023.

Di Fulvio studied dramaturgy at the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico in Rome under the guidance of Andrea Camilleri. He spent half a year as a member of The Living Theatre, where he had the opportunity to work in London alongside renowned figures such as Paola Bourbons, Sergio Graziani, Mario Maranzana, Andrzej Wajda, and Julian Beck.

Since 1996, Di Fulvio has established himself as a writer. His works gained significant popularity, with several novels being published in German. In 2008, he released the novel La gang dei sogni, which was translated into English under the title The Boy Who Dreams in 2011. This novel delves into themes such as violence against women and the lives of immigrants in New York City during the 1920s.
