Louise Rennison (11 October 1951 – 29 February 2016) was an English author and comedian renowned for her Confessions of Georgia Nicolson series, aimed at teenage girls. The beloved series chronicles the adventures of Georgia Nicolson and her group of friends, fondly known as the Ace Gang. Rennison's writing career took off with the success of her first two novels, Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging and It's OK, I'm Wearing Really Big Knickers, both of which were adapted into the film Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.
