Larissa Ione is a USA Today and New York Times bestselling author known for her contemporary and paranormal romance novels. She has published extensively with Samhain, Red Sage Kensington, and Grand Central Publishing under her own name. In collaboration with Stephanie Tyler, she also writes under the pseudonym Sydney Croft, with their books being published by Bantam Dell.

Before becoming a novelist, Ione served as an Air Force veteran and worked in meteorology. Her passion for writing eventually led her to abandon her career in meteorology. Her work has been recognized on various bestseller lists and she has been nominated for a RITA award.

Currently residing in Wisconsin, Larissa lives with her retired U.S. Coast Guard husband, her son, a rescue cat named Vegas, and her "hellhounds," a King Shepherd named Hexe and a Belgian Malinois named Duvel.

She is known for her belief in celebrating everything, often keeping a bottle of Champagne ready for impromptu celebrations.
