Koyoharu Gotouge

Koyoharu Gotouge, known for the Japanese name 吾峠 呼世晴 (Hepburn: Gotōge Koyoharu), is a renowned Japanese manga artist. They gained significant acclaim for creating the manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba which ran from 2016 to 2020. By February 2021, the series had surpassed 150 million copies in circulation, including digital copies, securing its position as the ninth best-selling manga series of all time.

In recognition of their groundbreaking work, Gotouge was featured in Time's annual list of 100 Most Influential People under the category "Phenoms". This marked a milestone as Gotouge became the first manga artist to earn a spot on this prestigious list.
