Kevin Kwan is a Singaporean-born American novelist and writer known for his satirical novels. He gained significant fame with his debut novel Crazy Rich Asians, which became a bestseller and was adapted into a successful film. He has also authored China Rich Girlfriend and Rich People Problems, completing the Crazy Rich Asians trilogy.

Kevin's books have been translated into 40 languages, showcasing his global appeal. In 2014, he was named as one of the "Five Writers to Watch" by The Hollywood Reporter, and in 2018, he was included in Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world. That same year, he was inducted into The Asian Hall of Fame.

His latest book, Lies and Weddings, was released in June 2024, adding to his collection of acclaimed works.
