Kevin Brockmeier

Kevin John Brockmeier is an American writer celebrated for his contributions to fantasy and literary fiction. Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, he developed a deep connection to storytelling from an early age. He pursued his passion academically and earned his MFA from the Iowa Writer's Workshop in 1997.

Brockmeier has gained significant recognition for his unique narrative style and engaging storytelling. His most renowned work, The Brief History of the Dead, was released in 2006 and has captivated readers worldwide.

His writing portfolio includes stories featured in esteemed publications such as The New Yorker, McSweeney's, Crazyhorse, and The Georgia Review.
