Kazuhiro "Kazu" Kibuishi is a Japanese-born American graphic novel author and illustrator born on April 8, 1978. He is renowned for creating and editing the comic anthology Flight and for the webcomic Copper. Additionally, Kibuishi is the author and illustrator of the popular Amulet series.

The webcomic artist and noted critic Scott McCloud has remarked that some of Kibuishi's work is so beautifully drawn that "it hurts my hands when I look at it."
