John Boyne is a renowned Irish author, novelist, and writer. Born on April 30, 1971, in Dublin, Ireland, Boyne has made a significant impact in the literary world with his works.
He studied English Literature at Trinity College, Dublin, and further honed his craft in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia, Norwich. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Letters by UEA in 2015.
Boyne has published sixteen novels for adults, six novels for younger readers, along with two novellas, and a collection of short stories. Among these, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, published in 2006, stands out as a monumental work.
