Jessica Shirvington, née Pagent, is an Australian author best known for her book series Embrace, also called The Violet Eden Chapters. Besides her significant contribution to young adult fiction through her series, Shirvington has expanded her repertoire with the standalone novel, BETWEEN THE LIVES, and introduced an exciting new duology called DISRUPTION in 2014. An entrepreneur, author, and mother living in Sydney, Jessica is a 2011 & 2012 finalist for Cosmopolitan’s annual Fun, Fearless Female Award.

Not just confined to her literary achievements, Jessica's personal life is equally captivating. She met her husband, Matt Shirvington, a former Olympian and current sports broadcaster for Foxtel and Fox Sports, at the tender age of seventeen. The couple, residing in Mosman, share their lives with their two daughters, Sienna and Winter, and a son. Jessica's early romance and its enduring nature have substantially influenced the way she approaches relationships in her YA novels.
