Jennifer Lauck is an American fiction and non-fiction author, essayist, speaker, and writing instructor. She was born on December 15, 1963. Lauck is renowned for her book Blackbird, which became a New York Times bestseller. Her works have been translated into several languages and published worldwide. She gained widespread popularity after appearing on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2000, where Oprah Winfrey praised her book as a must-read.
