Jeffrey M. Shaara (born February 21, 1952) is a distinguished American novelist known for his historical fiction. He is the son of the Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Shaara.

Jeff Shaara is acclaimed for being the New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and Publishers Weekly bestselling author of seventeen novels. His works include Rise to Rebellion and The Rising Tide, as well as Gods and Generals and The Last Full Measure—two novels that complete his father's Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, The Killer Angels.

He was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, grew up in Tallahassee, Florida, and currently resides in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
