Jeff Lindsay, originally Jeffry P. Freundlich, is a versatile American talent, extensively known for his gripping works as a playwright and crime novelist. He gained immense popularity with his creation of the compelling character Dexter Morgan, a sociopathic vigilante who works for the Miami Police Department by day and turns into a serial killer-killing vigilante by night. This intriguing protagonist is the center of Lindsay's acclaimed Dexter series of novels.

Lindsay's artistic journey has been diverse, including roles as a musician, singer, comedian, actor, TV host, and improv actor. He even had an experience as a dishwasher. His educational background is impressive, having graduated from Middlebury College, Vermont, in 1975, followed by a stint at the Celebration Mime Theatre's Clown School the same year.
