Jack Whyte

Jack Whyte was a Scottish-Canadian novelist known for his historical fiction. Born and raised in Scotland, he moved to Canada in 1967 and resided in Kelowna, British Columbia from 1996. Whyte's major work is the A Dream of Eagles series, known as The Camulod Chronicles outside Canada. This series retells the legend of King Arthur, set against Roman Britain, and avoids magical explanations for Arthur's rise, instead relying on the historical context of post-Roman Britain with some artistic license.
