Ian Frazier is an American writer and humorist. Born in 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio, he is renowned for his non-fiction works, including the history Great Plains (1989) and the travelogue Travels in Siberia (2010). Frazier is a frequent contributor to The New Yorker.
He graduated from Harvard University and resides in Montclair, New Jersey. His significant works also include On the Rez, Lamentations of the Father, and Coyote V. Acme, published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux.
