Iain Reid is a Canadian writer, born in 1981 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He is recognized for his work as a novelist and memoirist, gaining prominence with his debut novel, I'm Thinking of Ending Things, which became an international bestseller and has been translated into more than a dozen languages. This novel was also adapted into a film directed by Oscar-winner Charlie Kaufman for Netflix.
Reid is also known for his second novel, Foe, and his notable work, The Truth About Luck. In 2015, he was honored with the RBC Taylor Emerging Writer Award, highlighting his significant impact in the literary world.
