Haemin Sunim

Haemin Sunim is a renowned Zen Buddhist teacher and bestselling author. Born in South Korea, he pursued his education at prestigious institutions such as Berkeley, Harvard, and Princeton. Haemin received formal monastic training from the esteemed Haein Monastery in South Korea. For seven years, he dedicated himself to teaching Asian religions at Hampshire College in Massachusetts.

Recognized as one of the most influential Zen monks globally, Haemin's first book, The Things You Can See Only When You Slow Down, has touched the lives of many, being translated into more than 35 languages and selling over four million copies. His second book, Love for Imperfect Things, was the number one bestseller in South Korea in 2016 and became available in various languages by 2019. While he resides in Seoul, Haemin frequently travels to share his insightful teachings worldwide.
